The microprocessor controlled Intelligent Single Phase Power Supply and Battery Charger Unit with 90% efficiency and Power Factor Corrected 0,99 iPS 2400E provides steady state output voltage within ± 0,5% of the setting from no load to full load and for AC input voltages with ± 20% of the nominal input voltage. iPS 2400E as a power supply are internally filtered to be no greater than 32 dbrn ("c" message weighting) and 30 mV RMS for all conditions of input voltage and output load without the batteries connected. As a charger unit provide separate adjustable voltages for floating or equalizing lead or nickel cadmium cells.

The iPS 2400E able to operates without load with on the open circuit compare to other charges available on the market which required of least 20% of full load. When two or more equivalent iPS 2400E units are connected in parallel, they will share the load equally within ±10% for individual unit. Blocking diode circuit prevents paralleled units from being affected. The iPS 2400E capable of charging completely discharged cells. This allows the iPS 2400E to be used as a battery eliminator/power supply. The iPS 2400E contains four HPFC 600-003 High Performance Power Factor Corrected Units. Each unit delivers 600W with total output power of 2400W.
The iPS 2400E unit is a compact one rack space, economical solution for users who need reliable power source. In addition, the iPS 2400E unit collects a comprehensive set of date/time stamped power line fault and performance statistics as well as time stamped Major/Minor contact alarms and indicators. This data is stored and reported out to a remote console, such as a VT-100 compatible terminal or PC. Contacts are also included for local audible and visual alarming.
The iPS 2400E is software configurable from the console. Configuration and diagnostic commands are displayed and entered through a menu system. The menus can be displayed in three languages through software selection: English, Spanish and Russian. Front panel LED indicators display alarm conditions.
Front panel LED indicators also display power and alarm conditions. The iPS 2400E also equipped with a digital voltmeters and ammeter allow to continuously display input/output voltage and current. SNMP MIBS are supplied with the iPS 2400E for integration into SNMP based Network Management Systems.
