The iSCB-AC36XX provides both random and zero-crossing switch modes.
The iSCB-AC36XX immediately reacts to a current surges or short-circuit conditions. The device reacts in 50 ns to limit a current surge to a level of less than 30% above the rated amplitude value.
If any abnormal condition does not clear in 5 ms, the iSCB-AC36XX breaks the connection between the power source and the load, and initiates an alarm signal.
The iSCB-AC36XX restores the connection between the power source and the load as soon as any extended abnormal conditions clears.
The iSCB- AC36XX design is based on novel protection principles that minimize disconnect time to less than 1.5 µs.

The iSCB-AC36XX is applicable for line voltage from 18 VAC to 60 VAC, and line current up to 25 Amps. Other configurations and ratings are optionally available. The iSCB-AC36XX provides more design-friendly functionality than any best competing poly-switch, solid-state relay or solid-state circuit breaker available on the market. The iSCB-AC36XX is covered by two U.S. pending patents.
