These turbines are turned by the wind, which then operate generators. These generators are then used to produce power, which is most often in the form of electricity.

Wind power is highly effective at providing power at a commercial level. Because wind power can be converted into practical forms such as electricity, there really isn’t a single industry that can make of this renewable energy source.

Furthermore, the power of the wind can be harnessed for personal use as well. The popularity of personal wind turbines is on the rise. They have the ability to help you significantly cut your utility costs by powering some of your major appliances, taking some of the load off of your main power supply.
